The Cultural Triangle in central Turkey is famous for its fairy chimneys and ancient underground cities like Derinkuyu. Summers are hot (around 85°F, 30°C), perfect for morning hot air balloon rides over Cappadocia's valleys, while winter brings cold snow (around 30°F, -1°C), ideal for exploring the cool, carved interiors of Göreme's rock churches. In spring (April to June) or fall (September to November), temperatures are mild (60-75°F, 15-24°C), making hiking through the Rose Valley and Love Valley comfortable and less crowded.
