Riksgränsen is Sweden's northernmost ski resort, located right on the Norwegian border, famous for its late spring skiing under the midnight sun from May to June. The climate is arctic, with temperatures ranging from -4°F (-20°C) in winter to 50°F (10°C) in summer. In spring, you can ski on snow-covered slopes even as the sun shines 24 hours a day, while summer offers guided hikes to the top of Vassijaure for views of the surrounding mountains and the chance to see the northern lights starting in August.
